Keep it simple
Who says yard-work, isn't a great workout? Chopping wood, certainly gets all the core muscles warmed up and feels good, too!
To be effective though, chores or yard-work needn't be super-vigorous. Some time planting, weeding or tidying gives the body exercise and fresh air - as well as time to relax our minds. All this while we are getting a boost of fresh-air, light and vitamin D.
